Message	neutral postition rather then shoving it up against the bottom of the car. All the Japanese kits (the SPL looks to me like the Kazama w. out the color) are 2 piece per mount point just like this. I can't say that you will "fee" a difference but to me the 2 piece design makes "sense" and is the reason I went w. them.
